Clinical Pilates with Be Physiology
At Be Physiology we believe movement is medicine and what better way to move than with our clinical matwork Pilates classes.
Our Clinical Pilates focuses on strengthening muscles but also on improving function and whole-body conditioning. Each class is instructed by an accredited exercise physiologist who programs each session towards your goals, but also to ensure risks are minimised during our classes.
Classes are limited to 10 people to ensure you are supported, safe and assisted throughout each session.
Pilates for Women's Health
Clinical Pilates is an excellent way to gradually increase your abdominal and pelvic floor strength after giving birth. It can also help prepare your body during pregnancy by strengthening your deep abdominal muscles, reducing the risk of diastasis recti.
Our classes are designed and instructed by an accredited exercise physiologist and will help you reconnect with your body through controlled breathing techniques and guided movements. For many women, coordinating breath with basic movement patterns can be challenging, but Pilates is an effective way to learn proper breathing techniques.

Clinical Pilates is a form of Pilates that is often used for rehabilitation and injury prevention. Clinical Pilates is typically taught by a trained instructor, such as an exercise physiologist, who can tailor the exercises to the individual’s specific needs and goals. It is often used to help people recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, and improve their overall physical function.
Pilates places a strong emphasis on developing the trunk stabilising muscles such as, the deep abdominals, pelvic floor muscles and hip stabilisers that support the spine and pelvis. Improving trunk (core) strength will reduce lower back pain and help create better overall stability and improve pelvic floor control.
Our classes are hosted at an accessible gym, Fitstop Salibsury. There is a ramp available for wheelchair users.
